CapLit Book Club?
Ever attend a CapLit event and want to talk more about the story or novel you've heard read? We've had the same feeling, so we're thinking of starting a book discussion group to dive more deeply into the amazing work of our featured writers.
Interested? Please take our poll. If there’s enough interest, we’ll make an announcement in an upcoming newsletter.
Welcome our new bookseller!
We are thrilled to have Wild Sisters Book Company as our event bookseller beginning with our May event. One of Sacramento’s newest independent book stores, Wild Sisters is located at 3325 Folsom Blvd. In addition to selling books, they host a wide variety of community events—story hours, book clubs, reading retreats, puzzle nights, and workshops—at their cozy, eclectic store.
CapLit playlists on Spotify!
Ever noticed the background music playing before our events? The songs are selected by CapLit’s Tim Foley (one of last September’s featured writers), who, in a previous incarnation, was the music director of an FM radio station in the Bay Area. He’s put his playlists up on Spotify for everyone to enjoy.
Here’s a preview of his latest for our upcoming event!
There’s a full year’s worth of CapLit playlists to enjoy!
